All Characters Now Created.

Hello all. I'm proud to report that everyone has now got a character alive, created, with stats and backstory, and in the world. Here is the roster:

So far, everything is going according to plan. Email subplots are going on (send all mail to me at chad.cicconi@gmail.com), and skype plots are also going on almost every night. I'm still a step ahead on everyone's plots, but if that changes we may need to slow the pace. But for now, we are ok.

NAVAL POLICE CAPTURE COSTUMED CRIMINALS




...U.S. Navy Commander Carl Southern, head of security for Chicago's U.S. Navy Pier/Base, reported this morning that last night his officers captured two costumed criminals attempting to break into a government warehouse located at 54 Navy Pier. The criminals were apparently knocked unconscious by a third party who escaped the scene, and it is not known as yet whether anything was stolen from the warehouse. The pair would apparently only tell police their names: "Baffler" and "Darter," and that they would not be held in prison for long. Southern explained that although the crime fell under Federal Jurisdiction, the costumed burglers were turned over to the Chicago PTA, under the Paranormal Protection and Incarceration act, which allows both state and federal authorities to utilize PTA incarceration facilities for holding para-human arrestees charged or suspected of felony offenses. Southern promised that the Navy would work with the PTA in investigating the motives of the break-in and determining the identity of the third party who escaped the scene...

FIRE DESTROYS APARTMENT BUILDING, 15 KILLED
...A fire ravaged the Heddison apartment complex last evening, killing 15 and injuring 47. At approximately 3:45 a.m. this morning, smoke was seen billowing from the north side windows of the tower, which fire Chief Rodney Addison reported was cited at least five times in the last two years for fire code violations. Housing mainly the elderly and low income residents, the building was slated for renovation by its owners, Haldane Management. Haldane officials could not be reached this morning for comment. Firefighters arrived on the scene at approximately 4:10 a.m., and were able to evacuate most of the tenants, but those who lived above the 15th floor could not be reached. Police and fire helicopters were able to evacuate a number of people from the roof before flames made landing too dangerous, but many residents could not be reached, and perished in the blaze. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are expected as the day wears on.

SUDDEN DROP IN GEMSTONE COMMODITY PRICES BAFFLES TRADERS
...Within the last week, the price per carat of certain gemstones, particularly rubies and emeralds, has plummetted by an astonishing 34% on world markets. Leading commodity traders are at a loss to explain the sudden drop. Edgar Emerson, top commodity trader for Merrell Lynch Baker Cooper and Stone, indicated that "my clients, my colleagues, and my sources are all telling me this has to end soon, but the signals are getting all crossed somewhere. I just can't believe the market is being flooded with so many gems -- and all of impeccable quality. Either someone has been hoarding gems for years or there is a new source out there. Either way, the markets will have to adjust to this supply glut. Now may be the time to pick up that gemstone ring or necklace you've been wanting, but as an investment, cross gems off the list."...
