Long before he was a bitter old man yelling at teen mutants in Alaska, Nathan Thurm was a young, happy-go-lucky, hero on the scene in Mid-City. A founding member of AlertForce, and one-time team leader, this mutant has gone by many names. Thermo, Weather Wizard, Firefist... but perhaps he is best known as his original name, for which he was widely known as a hero, spokesmodel, and pitchman for his own brand of ice cream: ICE AVENGER!
