PTA ESTABLISHES NATIONAL TRAINING BASE NEAR YAKIMA
From the Yakima, Washington Herald Republic:
Regional PTA Director Helen Cutter this morning made an announcement which took local officials and the media by complete surprise -- the PTA has established a national training center and command bunker approximately 30 miles from Yakima. Although the specific location was undisclosed, Cutter stated that "we've been developing the facility for some time, although the local citizens may not have been aware of our activities. Obviously, the PTA operates hand in hand with local and national security agencies, and our need to operate without publicity is well known. However, we are happy to be partnering with your Yakima local government in announcing the opening of the PTA's new Northwest Regional Command and Training Facility nearby. You may now begin to see PTA operatives relocating to this area, patronizing your restaurants and local businesses, and helping the local economy. We estimate that at least 150 full-time positions will be created here." Chamber of Commerce President Wally Edgeforth was effusive in his endorsement: "well, it's sure a welcome surprise for the business community here." While reaction from the government and business side was universally positive, the day was not without dissent. Amber Gould, Director of Yakima Citizens Against Violence, spoke up at the question and answer session, pressing Cutter on whether any studies had been conducted to determine whether the facility could become a target for increased parahuman activity in or near Yakima. Cutter responded that "we are confident that our facility poses no danger to the local citizens."

Yakima?.... #%@*!%' Yakima?
One of three things are going on there. 1) The base is in some other place 30 miles out of Yakema. 2) PTA took out the base. Or 3)... and this doesn't feel good... PTA and the professor are working together. If the first one is right, it means nothing (save they may be "observing" the cave. The second, we probably won't hear from Oz for a while. The last, we are in for a whole lotta bad.... feces.

Ok... for those interested... As of now... the PTA beat back the muchkins. And are using the teleporter in the cave to get to Oz. This may or MAY not mean that the PTA are actually fighting Nomad. I still think that if those two groups meet, they are gonna form up... Nomad a dictator, the PTA, his SS. But, then again... it could just be that the PTA are actually fighting him.
